Ondo - Acoustic Thermometer
Ondo is an experimental application for iPhone that demonstrates the principles of acoustic thermometry. Acoustic thermometers rely
on the physical effect that the speed of sound in air is a function of temperature - by measuring the time for a transmitted sound to travel
between a speaker and microphone, the speed of sound and hence temperature can be calculated. The TRIZ methodology was used extensively during the development of Ondo.
